Welcome to The Hackademy Awards Web Site. We all love a good film, but who likes seeing your favorite star blowing smoke? Or worse -- cigarette brand exposure smack in the middle of a good flick? Right now, as you are reading this message, a group of cracker-jack teenage researchers in California are watching movies and finding out just what kind of smoking images are portrayed. And that's what this site is all about. While you are here, you can let us know what you think about smoking in the movies by taking our Hackademy Awards poll, check out the story behind Thumbs Up!
