ANDREI is the first Russian magazine for men. Launched in March
1991, it has come to be the only expensive high quality Russian magazine
for men in a country full of cheap quickie publications, aimed at nothing
but fast money, and rich foreign glossies.
Reports Time Magazine’s June 1991 issue: “ANDREI editor
in chief Alexei Weitsler says he is ready for the fight. He defends the
publication he founded as an outlet for stress, aggression and sexual suffocation,
insisting it is never merely obscene. ‘In puritanical countries there is
a tendency to produce bad eroticism,’ says Weitsler. “We are against that’”.
Says Details Magazine's March 1997 issue: "No doubt, naked
bodies juxtaposed against patriarchal state symbols appeal to Weitsler's
subversive whimpsy."
ANDREI’s credo is providing men with an opportunity to feast
their eyes on the most beautiful Russian women, as well as exploring and
promoting the Ideal of Natural Russian Female Beauty.
ANDREI ,which is a quarterly, enters Internet to introduce the
male community world wide to erotica Russian style and in hope for making
more friends.
Enjoy!
