The multi-talented Chris Hardwick is host for Singled Out, MTV's ultimate relationship show where contestants get the opportunity to choose their perfect mate. No stranger to MTV, Hardwick hosted the game show Trashed and was most recently seen catching some rays hosting segments at the MTV Beach House.
The Kentucky native came to MTV while studying philosophy at UCLA. A member of the University's Stand-up Comedy Club, Hardwick began performing stand-up routines regularly during his sophomore year. He went on to appear at comedy clubs in Los Angeles such as Igby's and The Improv.
"I set it as my playground," he says of his co-hosting duties on Singled Out. "I love the sheer randomness of the show. Picking your date from a crowd of 50 people is such an outrageous premise."
In addition to his work on MTV, Hardwick's television credits include a guest spot on the critically acclaimed Thirtysomething. He recently co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in the upcoming feature film Beach House. Hardwick can also be heard as an evening DJ on the alternative radio station KROQ-FM.
