Tim Nichols Will Entertain at Country and Western Summer Party

WHO:

Tim Nichols is fresh from a recording session in Nashville and has opened for artists such as Tanya Tucker.

WHAT:

Bud Light Country Night at the Races:
Sam Houston Race Park continues its traditional Friday night trackside party with a country and western flavor. KILT-FM disc jockeys will host the event with live entertainment and prizes. Food and drink specials include dollar draft beer and Pepsi, a half-pound "Big Tex" burger, a quarter-pound "Big Dog," a grilled chicken sandwich, and a barbecued half chicken served with beans and potato salad.
Live Quarter Horse racing: at Texas premiere Class I track. General admission is $3. Valet parking is $5, preferred parking is $2, and free parking is available.

FRIDAY, JULY 19 GATES OPEN 5:30 P.M.
LIVE QUARTER HORSE RACING 7 P.M. TIM NICHOLS ON STAGE 7:30 P.M.

Bucharest leaves strong field in his dust as he shatters yet another track record in SHRP Sprint Championship!

Even the speedboats lined up for the FishFest '96 were envious as the lined the racetrack during Bucharest's track-record shattering performance in the $35,000 Sam Houston Sprint Championship on May 4, 1996.
