This Film Festival is hosted by Mr. Jeffrey Lyons, of SNEAK PREVIEWS nationally known film reviewer. Each September since 1981, the Festival has presented four days of programs. The program includes time-honored film classics, premieres, foreign and documentary features, educational presentations, children's movies and a selection of films that are representative of the work of our featured guests.
Throughout the weekend, writers, directors, and producers and performing artists discuss their work directly with audiences in casual settings.
From over 180 entries the Programming committee has chosen 51 independent films to be shown at the 16th annual festival. Click here to get to the page that has those films and thir filmmakers, the SCHEDULE FOR 1996. Congratulations to those selected! It was a very tough decision by the committee as we had limited slots available to show films. Many entries submitted and not chosen were fine pieces of work, but we had limited space available.
The content and structure of the festival is controlled by a local Board of Directors.
We are privileged to have assisting this local board an Honorary Board of Directors of renowned people in the Entertainment industry.
It is not possible to thank all of the local volunteers who work for months to insure the festival's success.
